Res2DInv is a powerful processing and inversion tool for ERT (DC) and IP data, used to create detailed 2D resistivity models of the subsurface.

Res2DInv: A modern PC with 4GB of RAM or more is sufficient, allowing inversions to be completed within a few minutes.

Res3DInv Professional: Requires up to 256GB of RAM for large surveys or time-lapse inversions. Additionally, Res3DInv uses the hard drive for buffering, so a large and fast SSD is essential for larger surveys. 

Both tools are designed for speed and efficiency, performing well on most modern computers. Both benefit from additional CPU cores, with significant improvements when upgrading from 4 to 16 CPUs.
